Kitbuilding

My friend Rolf and I are building a kitplane together. On the menu to the left you can information about that project, like how we selected the plane we are building, a logbook about the actual progress of the project (updated every few days), information about the panel and ideas for gadgets that could go into the plane (not all are serious...).

The following bar shows the progress of out project in regard to the planned schedule. The finishing date had to be shifted a number of times, as the kit was delivered only in February 2008 instead of the originally planned September 2007, and as I went to work in Australia in 2007 and 2008 for a total of about six months. Building therefore only started in earnest in June 2008. I initially hoped that with that starting date a finishing date at the end of August 2009 would be achievable. Even though we made very good progress I had to realise that the date will have to be shifted more towards spring 2010.
